Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 0.25%

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Financials and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.25%.

The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.76% or 13.80 points to trade at 380.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 2.41% or 49.00 points to end at 2,082.00 and Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) was up 2.20% or 20.00 points to 927.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which fell 3.57% or 41.50 points to trade at 1,122.00 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) declined 1.78% or 3.70 points to end at 203.60 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was down 1.61% or 2.30 points to 140.60.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 92 to 52 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.39% or 0.32 to $80.75 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.31% or 0.27 to hit $85.51 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 17.50 to trade at $2,167.20 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.47% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 104.11.
