VICTOR, N.Y. – Constellation Brands (NYSE: NYSE:STZ), a prominent producer and marketer of beer, wine, and spirits, announced today the appointment of Sam Glaetzer as Executive Vice President and President of its Wine & Spirits Division. Glaetzer, who brings nearly three decades of industry experience, will also join the company’s executive management committee.

The new appointment is effective today, marking a transition from Robert Hanson, the division’s previous leader. Bill Newlands, President and CEO of Constellation Brands, expressed confidence in Glaetzer’s ability to drive growth and profitability, citing the completion of the company’s strategic transformation of its wine and spirits brand portfolio.

Glaetzer joined Constellation Brands in 2014 and has held various leadership roles, including managing director for the company’s operations in New Zealand and Australia. His experience spans general management, international commercial sales, supply chain operations, and more. Most recently, Glaetzer served as Senior Vice President of Global Operations and International Sales.
