Saudi Arabia stocks higher at close of trade; Tadawul All Share up 0.29%

Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Industrial Investment and Media & Publishing sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.29%.

The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (TADAWUL:1304), which rose 10.00% or 3.40 points to trade at 37.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co. (TADAWUL:2160) added 9.93% or 2.65 points to end at 29.35 and Sadr Logistics Co (TADAWUL:1832) was up 9.83% or 0.35 points to 3.91 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:4130), which fell 6.67% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.14 at the close. Middle East Pharmaceutical (TADAWUL:4016) declined 5.43% or 10.20 points to end at 177.80 and CHUBB Arabia Cooperative Insurance (TADAWUL:8240) was down 3.14% or 1.00 points to 30.80.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 190 to 91 and 21 ended unchanged.

Shares in Al Yamamah Steel Industries Co (TADAWUL:1304) rose to 52-week highs; rising 10.00% or 3.40 to 37.40.

Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.94% or 0.74 to $78.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.77% or 0.64 to hit $82.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 4.10 to trade at $2,130.40 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.04% to 4.07, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 103.87.
