(Reuters) – Manchester United (NYSE:MANU) kept its 2024 forecast unchanged on Tuesday after posting a rise in profit for the second quarter due to its participation in the early stages of the lucrative UEFA Champions League this season.
The Premier League club, which was knocked out of the Champions League and recently welcomed new minority shareholder Jim Ratcliffe, reported net income of 20.4 million pounds ($26.10 million) for the three months ended Dec. 31, compared with 6.3 million pounds a year earlier.
